HaaS School of Management has released its MBA essays for this year and the application deadline for Round 1 has been set for September 12.
HaaS is a value driven MBA program which treasures humility, curiosity, ethics, authenticity, and academic rigor. Berkeley looks for cultural fitment of candidates and values candidates with strong commitment towards their profession and society
HaaS application requires two essays:
Essay1: Tell us a six-word story that reflects a memorable experience in your life-to-date. Elaborate on why it is meaningful to you. (300 words maximum)
For the story to be right, it must be yours. HaaS will not evaluate you on your grammar for those six words. The six words should convey what you want to convey to HaaS. And don’t worry you have additional 294 words to complete your stellar story
Essay #2
Briefly describe your immediate post-MBA career goal, and discuss how it will put you on a path to a meaningful and rewarding career. (300 words maximum)
In this essay your focus should be on developing a road-map to align your immediate career goals with your long-term goals and how your MBA education and existing skills will contribute to complete the story.
The essays should bring out your leadership skills and values - The task you undertook, what you did or said, and how well you were able to demonstrate your values and commitment. Spend a good amount of time to set up a background story and formulate a meaningful structure to bring out all the key elements of your journey.
