Hi! If I remember correctly, people who were invited on last couple of days before the decision deadline in R1, were given extra couple of weeks to schedule the interview and where informed about the decision in the beginning of Jan.

That would be great! I have no news either yet and we are 3 days to go.

My invitation for the interview was lost in heap of e-mails amidst all new-year business travels. Thankfully HAAS sent a note on my other e-mail id, which I was using to communicate with them prior to submitting the application.

I'm glad they did, otherwise the only option would have been to do a remote interview since I'm on the road again for last couple of weeks.

My interview went pretty OK I guess. I was interviewed by the director herself : Liz. It lasted for over 40 minutes. All typical question:

1) Timeline of my last 13 years of experinece
2) Why MBA - Why Now - Where are you heading and how MBA would help
3) Principle of HAAS - How do you connect to them ..Why are you a fit ?
4) What do you bring to the table ? Why you ?
5) Family ? What other activities besides drudging :)
6) Interests.

For point-6, I had an anecdote from personal experience and she kind-of was *really* interested to hear the story so we went beyond 30 minutes. I found her genuinely interested and surprisingly myself really in the flow .

I felt pretty OK after the interview. Let see now .

Best of Luck and happy to answer any specific questions anyone has . Cheers!

I haven’t heard anything from Haas since my interview. Do I prep myself for rejection?

This seems to be pretty common, at least in my experience. I wouldn't take it one way or the other! You're not rejected until you're rejected!

I wouldn't worry at all at this point. I didn't hear anything after my interview either...until I got the phone call that I was accepted! You're almost there (1 more day) so just keep calm as best you can and stay positive!

Congrats!! Got a call yesterday too but didn't hear anything about scholarship - does anyone know how they work? On the portal it says you can apply for them, does that mean you have to or you won't be considered?
