I have got this email stating that they have waivered the interview while the application is still in consideration. Anyone else who has got something similar?

Please do share what they advise. My understanding is that it’s a polite ding and if there is a gap in acceptance or they don’t find someone to fill in a particular profile, they may invite to interview.

Read on the other thread that there were a spate of waivers ( all Indians it appears).

Guys, it’s not a “polite ding” and I would advise not calling the adcom to ask because the interview waiver process is fully explained on Kellogg’s website.

To summarize what is on their website:
Kellogg tries to interview every candidate. It is their policy to not even read your application until they have completed the interview. In some cases if there is not an interviewer available in your area or there is a high demand for interviews in your area, you may be issued an interview waiver. This allows the adcom to begin the review of the rest of your application. If upon reviewing your application they are interested in you, they will schedule an interview for later in the round.
