Double spaced means add an equally spaced blank line between each line of text; however you accomplish that in your word processor. In MS word, it's in the edit paragraph. It would look like this:
_______
Blah blah
Tepper is a nice place to grow flowers.
_______
The blank space is in between the two lines.
If you want a US perspective on Pittsburgh, I'll give you my limited 2 cents (I'm live in a big city on the Atlantic ocean).
It's live-able and cost effective. No $2000/month rent for a studio there that I know of. I would estimate that a Pittsburgh minute is about 10 NY minutes, but that's not saying much.
After the decline of the steel industry, it's been trying to recover and some attractive companies have responded by establishing facilities given the proximity to major technology institutions. The job prospects are good in that field. Not so much if your a banker.
Stating the obvious: Check Pittsburgh wikipedia
It's a city but not a big one, feels small compared to what you've seen. There's no subway, a few tall buildings, but nice little neighborhoods with the essentials and places to hang out.
Petervella,
Thanks for the briefing of Pittsburgh! Good to know that living cost is not too high. I have a tech background and want to find a job in the U.S. post-MBA. Pittsburgh sounds a good fit for this purpose.
