meaning is changed ; as 3 things result from obsolete lens

(B)Eyestrain can result from reading small print, from staring at a computer screen, or from using
Correct- proper paralellism
(C)Eyestrain can result not only from reading small print and staring at a computer screen, but also -> from is missing
(D)Eyestrain can result from reading small print, staring at a computer screen, as well as -> prep + ving is reqd

(E)Eyestrain may result in reading small print, staring at a computer screen, or in the use of-> wrong parallelism

So B is clear winner

Do your first split. Eliminate A & E due to meaning. Comment above.
From there you have to see the pattern for parallelism. Usually the first thing you need to look at when the author presents a list. Here: from reading, from staring, from using

The more questions you do, the more accustomed you will become to these patterns.

How does A change the meaning , i understand B is correct , but not getting why to eliminate A ?

Hi Shelrod

Option A changes the meaning because it depicts that "reading small print or staring at a computer screen" (along with eyestrain) can also result from a faulty or obsolete corrective lens prescription. It's actually not changing the meaning, it is making the sentence illogical as reading small print or staring at a computer screen cannot result from something.
