stmt 1 - only one condition satisfies it i.e. (3,5,7,9,11)

stmt 2 - now because 7 is the mode so it should appear atleast 2 times
if we take 7 twice then (35-7*2 = 21) we are left with 3 numbers with a total of 21
, which can be (1,2,18) (1,3,17) and so on........ AND 7 will remain in the middle

if we take 7 three time then one number will always be less than 7 (35-7*3 = 14) , numbers can be (6,8) (9,5) and so on
and if we take 7 , four times then the fifth number be only 7

In all the cases the middle number be always 7. Hence, the median

Answer is D

A.

5 integes in the set with mean as 7 --> sum = 35

1. Consecutive and odd inetgers --> only one possible solution {3,5,7,9,11} , hence, sufficient.

Answer is either A or D.

2. mode is 7 --> {7,7,7,7,7} , {5,7,7,7,9}, etc. --> insufficient.

Hence, A.

D

Summary: The mode of a set of data is the value in the set that occurs most often. A set of data can be bimodal. It is also possible to have a set of data with no mode.
