Statement 1. n+1>0 ie n>-1 ...we do not know sign of p....Insufficient

Statement 2. np>0 ie both n and p are positive or both are negative.... Insufficient

1+2 ...from st1 n is integer and greater than -1 ..therefore it should be 0,1,2,3,4...... ie positive number
from st2 if n is positive p is also positive ......So p should be positive as we know n>-1

1.Not sufficient.

n > -1

n could be 0,1,2....
doesn't say anything about p.

2. Not Sufficient
n>0,p>0 or n<0,p<0
so this is not enough to determine the sign of p.

together

n is not equal to 0 (otherwise 2 wont be true.) .
n can be any of the following => n>0 => p>0

Answer C.

1,2,3....
