Hi Alex,
Thanks for your advice. However i have given this list of school as i want to know that do these schools fit my profile. I dont have a geographical prefrence as such but would want to apply to a school which takes ppl having a profile like mine and which can help me to land up at a good place once i graduate from there. Moreover ,do any of these schools can accept me with a gmat score of 660 and do i stand a chance to get scholarship ?
Scholarship? No. Your score would need to be closer to 760 for these kinds of schools, and you'll need exceptional applications.
In any case, if you have no real preferences for anything, then there's nothing I can tell you. It's like walking into a grocery store saying you're thirsty and hungry, but have no preference for anything.
This must be a cultural thing, but I tend to see this kind of mentality amongst some South Asian applicants where they seem to let circumstances dictate their decisions rather than their personal subjective opinions and wants. You need to figure out what you want, what you prefer -- otherwise it's not going to translate into a compelling application (because the tone of your essays and applications will just come across as "please take me" rather than putting together a narrative that is more focused on "here's what I want and why"). If you are unable to form opinions of your own about waht you want and why at this point with respect to the schools you'd like to apply to, it's going to be even harder to articulate a compelling narrative in the applications. And if you don't know, it means doing a lot more research - go through the schools' websites, look through the rankings publications, etc. I am not going to dictate to you what your opinions or preferences should be, because that is your responsibility.
