Hi retakegal95,
I'm sorry to hear about the hassle you experienced at the Testing Facility. That type of delay, especially if you were 'ready to go' on your planned Test Day, could very well have thrown off your end score result. You bring up a number of different issues in your post, so I'm going to address them in order:
To start, since you referenced your prior practice CAT scores, I'd like to know a bit more about how you were taking your CATs:
1) Did you take the ENTIRE CAT each time (including the Essay and IR sections)?
2) Did you take them at home?
3) Did you take them at the same time of day as your Official GMAT?
4) Did you ever do ANYTHING during your CATs that you couldn't do on Test Day (pause the CAT, skip sections, take longer breaks, etc.)?
5) Did you ever take a CAT more than once? Had you seen any of the questions BEFORE?
Next, we need a better idea of how well this Official Score compares to the average scores at the Schools that you plan to apply to:
1) What MiM Programs are applying to?
2) What are the average GMAT scores at each Program?
Finally, as far as your future studies are concerned:
1) Will you be able to study for the GMAT at all before December?
2) When exactly in January would you be thinking of retaking the GMAT?

Thanks for your reply...
I will answer the questions you asked in order.
1) Did you take the ENTIRE CAT each time (including the Essay and IR sections)?
Yes I took 12 mock tests in all(6 Gmat prep tests and 6 manhattan tests) over the period of 50 days. I took 7 exams as full CATs with essay and IR sections2) Did you take them at home?
I took most of the exams but I made sure to maintain a proper test environment3) Did you take them at the same time of day as your Official GMAT?
My test was supposed to be at 1:00pm on 16th august, so I took most of the exams in that time frame. But, the day when I actually gave the test, a week later, the time was 9:00 am in morning. Even though I was comfortable at that time too as I had given mocks in morning too.4) Did you ever do ANYTHING during your CATs that you couldn't do on Test Day (pause the CAT, skip sections, take longer breaks, etc.)?
In initial mocks, I used to skip the AWA and IR sections and took longer breaks. But in the final stages, I was properly giving the exams under exam conditions.5) Did you ever take a CAT more than once? Had you seen any of the questions BEFORE?
Yes. I repeated GMAT prep 1 and 2 twice. I saw 3-4 repeat questions each time.
1) What MiM Programs are applying to?
I am planning to apply to Rotterdam School of Management for MIM and St Gallen for SIM. But as the deadlines have time, so I am planning to take the exam again.2) What are the average GMAT scores at each Program?
Both of them have a requirement of minimum 600 GMAT score. But their average GMAT score is around 650.
1) Will you be able to study for the GMAT at all before December?
Yes I will be able to study for GMAT but not long durations. I need to take time out for the same. I don't know how much time should I allot for the same.2) When exactly in January would you be thinking of retaking the GMAT?
I have my 7th semester exams in november. I will have one month break in december, So I am planning to take the test probably by first week of January.
Thanks for help
