We'll stay at Wash. Duke Inn as well. I'll post arrival time when I figure it out.

Thanks, I added him to the list. We need legal representation.

Thanks for remembering me Dukes. Actually, it doesn't look like I will be able to make it. I'm heading to Charlottesville tomorrow for an interview and the following weekend I'm meeting friends in NY for a trip I planned a while back. Traveling to the east coast 3 weeks in a row is probably more than I can take.

I'm actually already kind of bummed that I'll be spending so much time on planes while the NCAA tournament is getting underway. I would love to meet up with you guys, but going by how I feel at the moment, it will have to be at some other time. I will let you guys know if I change my mind at the last minute.

That sucks. Wish you could make it. If you end up coming, beer is on me.

Guys/Gals, the ticket prices are shooting though the roof. Don't dilly dally. I ended up paying much more than I would have two weeks ago.

I'm sort of in the same boat. Fuqua seems like an unlikely option for me at the moment and I've been traveling like crazy and will return from overseas just a few days before BDW.

We've decided we're driving down, getting in around noon on Friday.

Staying with an incoming student who currently lives near campus.

I think I'm doing the women in biz lunch on Fri. EconGirl, you in?

I signed up for it but I don't know if I'll get there on time. We'll probably end up driving down as well.

Meet up or no???

I'm leaving this afternoon to drive down - will be staying at a house on Swift Ave. Getting into town around lunchtime on Friday. Come on, gang, you in or out???

(the only outside-the-schedule thing we have planned is a realtor appt at 11 on Sunday)

are you looking into buy a house? Maybe it's a good idea since this is a buyer's markert.

My wife and I should be able to arrive at Durham around noon time.

well, since died4me, lhotse, and i are the ones who are representin', and we should all be there by Fri around noon, it seems we have two options:

We can do lunch on Fri; I just need to be at my host's place by 2:30.

We could do an early happy hour - say 3 or 4pm - before the kick-off at 5:30.

I think the second is my preference, as I am not sure what time we'll roll in.

THoughts?

PS Died4me - ask me your tax question when you see me. I've got an answer for you, and since I'll see you, it'll be quicker to tell you rather than write it out in a PM. And you owe me a beer. Good tax advice ain't free, ya know. ;)

I just asked u the question to give myself a chance to serve you a beer. hahaha. ya know

I actually prefer option 1 as my wife has never been in any happy hour thing. I know what your reaction will be. Are you serious??????

meeting my wife will be a unique experience for you. She is the nicest and shyest lady in the world. (Of course, she is not like that way when I forget her b-day or the anniv. day)

Also, we need to drive around to see some apartments before the kickoff so I would like to have a lunch together rather than the happy hour.

Lhotse, drag your west-coast self out of bed! Or maybe you're in mid-air...

Sure, lunch can work. I would suggest 1pm.

I don't know why I didn't notice this earlier. I am ok with whatever you guys decide. Drop me a PM and I will show up. I have a flight to catch in one hour.
