Hello everybody,
I took the GMAT in april and got 690 (Q49, V35) and i had a nice surprise after having gone through an awful month at work (did not study at all). I was not sure whether to retake it or not, but I new I could do better, specially on the verbal part.
I did not practice much, I simply studied all SC questions from OG11 and slept well the day before. I went less nervous and confident to improve my score and got a 720 (q49, V39). I am more than happy with that score (specially being spanish).
Could I have done better? yes, sure... but it is not worth the time -imho- it's better to spend the time on essays!
Good luck to everybody!
Pau
First attemp materials:
Princeton review "CRacking the gmat" <--- awfull book
Kaplan <--- good
GMATClub <--- it was ok
Thorough review of every single question practiced (know why you failed or if you really new how to solve the question)<--- most important thing of all
Second attemp materials:
OG11 <--- good materials for practice (most oficial answers are worthless)
Gmatclub <--- sometimes useful for additional explanations (when
OG fails to provide one)
CONFIDENCE <--- state of mind is what made me win those 30 extra points.
