I just wanted to know that for super elite schools like Kellogs, harvard, Stanford, pennsylvania and MIT, what type of profile (experience, GPA, extra-curriculars etc) at least is required (considering MBA in Marketing).
Age 25 (present) from Pakistan
My Beachlor's GPA is 3.8
My MBA GPA is 3.9
Done my Beachlors and MBA from one of the top five institutes in Pakistan (the best in my city).
Have published two research papers. (Up for some more)
Targeted GMAT Score 740+ (Am quite positive about it)
Just completed my MBA so no experience. but I am not looking forward to apply in next four or five years. During that time, I'll get workexperience as well as get involved in extra-curriculars.
Looking forward to build my carrer in Brand management.
Please advice (especially on extra-curriculars and experience) .

I'm not sure I understand... You already have an MBA? Why do you want to get another one? Top U.S. schools will be reluctant to admit you if you already have an MBA.

Well actually the reason I got an MBA was to start my career since you cannot have a job until you're an MBA. Nobody here entertains Bachelor . But the standard of an MBA here is not up to the mark. In fact, I guess I learned more in my BBA program that I did in my MBA.
Secondly, if US top schools have such a stringent policy of not accepting MBA's then I guess virtually no one from Pakistan can get into one of these schools since if you somehow get a small internship or a sales job on your BBA degree, after and year or so you'll be asked to get an MBA IF you hope to get into management. On the other hand, top B Schools in US require working experience in management (at least 2 years) so I guess that leaves no room for us in the US programs.
The reason for getting another MBA is simple to learn more and in a better way.
Besides if my first MBA is going to be hindrance in my MBA in US, so I could not disclose my MBA degree. Is there anything wrong with it - I mean are they going to probe into the credentials of deserving applicants.

? Anyway, thanks for your help. Actually besides building my career in some multi national, I am also looking forward to staring a business of my own (an online business). So if this plan works, do you think that this kind of stuff would be a plus point in my application.
