good luck nervous. We are sure you would get into GMATClub book of records for the clean sweep.

At this point of time..is it foolish to hope for an interview? Yale was my most honest application.

toDoorNot,
Yale stated during the first round that they were extending the invites until the R1 deadline. My guess is that R2 will have the same trend. I truly hope that this invite comes through for you. Good luck!

This is going to create lots of publicity, and make learning very unconventional:

Ambassador Bolton has talked with SOM students and faculty. The caliber of people they get to listen to just amazes me! Here's the recording if you have time to listen to what Mr. Bolton had to say.

This, together with Mr. Blair's involvement, is just a tiny little hint where Yale might be going.

I think, in the end of the day, Yale will churn out very good politicians with a superb understanding of business and economics, or alternatively, very good business people with a superb understanding of politics. Either way, this could be one of the ways to see what "leaders for business and society" should really be.

Congrats, todoornot!!!
Anything available tomorrow? ;-) Seriously, I would call and ask even if you can't see the openings for thursday.
bsd_lover has a good point. Maybe they will be able to interview you over the phone.

Yale ding last night. Interviewed a few weeks ago. Thought it went well although apparently not well enough to get me in. Only have one more interview decision left along with one WL w/o an interview. Good luck to you guys.

P.S. Everyone should check their Yale status page as I was not emailed last night. I read on the BW forum that some decisions had been posted so I decided to check and sure enough the ding was waiting.

I just received my interview invite today. With it being so close to the deadline, do you think it makes a difference if I interview on-campus or with alumni?

It does not make any difference if you have visited the school. However, if you have not, then it may be a good idea to show the school that you are interested in Yale so much that you do not mind travelling all the way to the quiet New Haven for the interview.

Just my 2 cents.

It's also important to show interest in New Haven.
