For those who say don't study the night before I am sure glad I did. I picked up on a gramatical rule that was absolutely killing me in verbal and I feel much more comfertable with it now.

although there is no record of you on this forum asking for advice regarding your study habit, if you did ask for people's opinion, way to show your appreciation by saying F.U. to people who tried to help.

Re: My big day [#permalink]
Alright well it's over and I am pretty happy. First a little preface. My first time taking it I did almost no studying and got a 660. (42Q,38V) I just finished with a 710!!!! (49Q,38V). The AWA second question threw me for a loop btu I think I did OK. I scored a 6.0 the first time so we will see. I want to clarify I wasn't saying stick it to anyone, just stating that I found benefit in studying the night before. Sorry if that got miscontrued I am nothing but greatful to everyone here. I am not going to provide a full debrief but will be happy to answer any questions. I do have one of my own, is this score enough to offset a mediocre UG GPA of 3.25 at a med sized state school?

Profile:
Age at Matriculation: 25
Race:Caucasian
GMAT: 710 49Q 38V
GPA: 3.25 Bowling Green State University- Business
Work Experiance: 3 years at Fortune 100 manufacturer in a Supply Management Development Program
Target Schools: Kellogg, Ross, Chicago, Carnegie Mellon, Cornell

P.S. You think I have shot at a decent scholarship at any of these?

Thanks again everyone!!! I pass this site on to everyone I meet.

Thanks Again.

The Manbilla ( Half Man Half Gorilla) What can I say? I am a hairy dude!

I'm definitely in your boat, Manbilla. Studying the day before and the day of my test really helped calm my nerves and allowed me to hit my real GMAT in stride.
