I never felt a connection with the MIT application like I did with some of the others, so I guess its not a huge shock ...

Geez, that was quick. Dinged. Really counting on Chicago - they've been my preference over Sloan since the beginning, so here's hoping for an admit in a couple of days.

You're definitely not alone on that. I definitely feel that certain applications for whatever reason have let me express myself better than others, and I feel that the Sloan one definitely ranked near the bottom (this is in no way a dig on the school, it is and remains the landmark university for creativity, technology and entrepreneurship in my hometown-biased opinion). When your acceptance rate is 10%ish, you're definitely going to bump more than a few smart people solely due to that....

Haven't posted on this thread before, but I was dinged today as well. Didn't think they would send these out before the deadline, but guess I'm glad I didn't have to wait until February for this news. Good luck to everyone else with the same fate. And congrats to the few with invites!

Dinged as well. Looks like it was a slaughter today among GMATClubbers.

Best of luck to the rest of you who are still in it.

Its hard for me to believe that MIT did not find a single GMAT Club member worthy for an interview? Is this some kind of system generated email which got triggered accidentally?

Not today though. I find it odd that all of us would get dinged, even when many got interviews at Wharton, Chicago or Stanford... I am hoping for a computer glitch lol

I was hoping my HBS interview might at least be a positive sign for getting a Sloan interview, but alas!

Did anybody else not get an interview but not get dinged either? I feel like there is some lag in my email box or something :( Does your status online change when you get the MIT email?
