I had to finish my thesis. I ended up finishing on October 12th, which didn't give me much time for R1 Apps. Sigh

Phew. Got invited to interview today.

For people who did alum interviews in R1, what was the general opinion? Is it true that there's no difference between on and off-campus interviews, specially for those based abroad?

I know the feeling! Scroll up and read back to what Ari posted a couple days ago. And then cross and uncross your fingers and toes seven times sequentially. :-).

Nah man, I think a large percentage of applicants get interviewed at Michigan, so as long as your stats are in their general range, I think you can be fairly confident of getting an interview. Lotsa luck!

Stats are in range and was confident ill hear from them, but then again lets see.... Thanks neways.... do well on ur IV.

Most is like kinda an exaggeration. I think we're all getting Ross crazy.. there are 18 people reading this thread right now.

Only 8 people have gotten invites out of 40 applicants. Technically 7 out of 39.

Everyone needs to relax (or frantically check their spam filters). Breathe!

That's a hard question, but I'm going to wait till I actually get in. Ha ha. Tbh, considering I worked on my applications for about two weeks, I don't think my essays are up to scratch. I'd be surprised if I get in.

I guess the reason why everyone is so excited about Ross right now is the fact that no other school starts sending out invites as early as Ross.

disagree. The three schools I applied to have all started sending invites.:)

I haven't heard from any one of them :(
