Thank you for your time. How would you rate my chances for admission at Top 15 programs applying R1 this fall.

Currently targeting Darden and Duke but open to suggestions.

Education: Double Major Economics and Government from a top 30 university in US
GPA: 3.3 with As in Statistics and Econometrics
Age: 27 when applying
Work Experience: 6 years of Strategy Consulting focus on public sector (big firm) Promotions, and management exp
GMAT: 690 ( 42V / 42Q/ 5.0 AWA)
Recommendations: A number of strong options all alums from Top Programs (Booth, Wharton, Darden)
Future Plan: Short term (5 yrs): Strategy Consulting focused on the Public Sector
Long term: Transition into Senior leadership at a non-profit or Public Sector organization

Add Yale to the list. You should be competitive for schools like Yale, Darden, Duke. Maybe take a look at Ross as well. I would say even choose one of Kellogg or Tuck as "stretch" schools (if your GMAT was 740+ to balance out your so-so GPA, you would be competitive for schools like Kellogg).

As for backups, look into Georgetown.

Yale is one of the most reputable schools for non-profit/social enterprise, and has deep historical roots (including a strong and big alumni base) of folks in that sector - probably more than any other b-school.
