Hi friends, Here is a forum to connect with potential candidates and ones who have accepted the SMU MBA admissions offer. This would give us a chance to discuss the plans, thoughts and also issues (if any) before start of the program. Hi friends,
I am considering SMU full time MBA for January intake. My main apprehension is related to the post mba placements for international students that too in oil & gas sector. I have approx. 8 years of experience in an oil PSU.
Kindly share the information u have pertaining to school reputation and placements scenario.

@amlajain: Just relax for the interview. If you go through the interview guide on this forum, you'll be set. They ask your typical MBA interview questions. No curveballs.

dear all i had applied for jan 2013 intake.. but since i have only 2 years of experience SMU said they will interview me in jan 13 for the class of 14. Has it happened to any one of you ? does experience such a big role in the placements.

I have a question regarding post-MBA employment in Singapore,I believe many people on this thread can advise me on this.
I am thinking to apply to one of these universities in Singapore, but my concern is that I don't speak Chinese at all and as I understand it greatly limits the number of positions I ll be able to apply after graduation.
Can somebody provide any additional information on employment opportunities for foreigners in Singapore?

Hi,
Can somebody suggest whether I should apply to SMU for 2014 January batch or not.
My profile is as follows
Close to 6 years of work ex. all in finance and audit with Ernst & Young and Standard & Poor's
Chartered Accountancy degree
CFA 2 levels
Visiting faculty for CFA batches at Pristine
Some ECA at company level
And the GMAT score is 600
