Well, surprised to see no one is interested in INSEAD 2014 intake yet. Probably too soon, considering the first round deadline of April 3rd 2013.
Anyway, I visited INSEAD Singapore campus yesterday, and attended the information session and a master class on Game Theory. Wow, what an experience! It was my first campus visit to a B-school in my application process and the visit increased my interest in INSEAD by 10 folds. Having interest in strategy, I was looking forward to the Game theory class, and now I can’t recall a time when I enjoyed a lecture so much. After the information session, we had a Q&A with students, followed by a networking session with students. It was great to see that despite a 10-month intense program, each and every one emphasized on the FUN part of INSEAD experience.

Hey INSEAD does host info sessions in India. I attended one last year in Mumbai. It was a fabulous experience meeting the alumni and the Dean Dipak Jain. Though there is nothing on the website now, I'm sure there will be an announcement for one such session this year too. Keep checking.

Phew... I did not find this thread and ended up creating one. I should delete that. Anyway I am also vouching for R1. Have you all started your apps for R1? I just got my GMAT done last week - 710 (Q50 V35 - Not so great.. but whatever), and am planning to start the app process. Any tips on the apps?
My profile - 6 yrs IT industry. Decent acads (Topper of my class), close to 2 yrs exp in US and short term in UK (2 months). Decent extra curricular activities both at work and otherwise.

I'll be applying in April. At 32 I'll be one of the oldies, but blogs like mbaover30 show that it is at least possible. The GMAT is done, recommendation requests are sent and first drafts of most essays are done. Now for a month and a half of finishing touches (and a TOEFL test).
I must say that everything people have written about the MBA application process making you reflect and learn about yourself is true. When I started this process I was still very unsure if this was the right choice. After months of researching, GMAT studying and self-reflecting, I'm a lot more confident that a year at business school is the right decision for me. The problem is that it will be such a blow if I do not get accepted...
Anyways, good luck to everyone. The next few months are going to be very exciting.

Hey All,
I am applying in R1 and have a question related to admission form. I have a query regarding admission form of the regular 10 month MBA course at INSEAD. My native language is not English but the mode of instruction for my entire university degree for all subjects was English. All my mark sheets and certificate of the 4 year university course are also in English. In such a case, do I need to submit a separate certificate/letter from university certifying the same or mentioning the same in the app form will suffice. Specifically asking this as I see the below sentence in your website " You need to submit a transcript which indicates that the curriculum was entirely taught in English".
Pls clarify/correct.
Thanks, Neeraj
