Thank you ARINGO – professional, dedicated and result orientated

I had a great experience with ARINGO and here is my MBA admission consultant testimonial…

When coming to choose my admission consultant I only had price in mind.
I had a feeling all consultant use the same people and methods.
From the first conversation with ARINGO, I understood how wrong I was. Unlike other consultants who told me how great I was and how I should maximize my application (and pay them for many schools), ARINGO's strategy was different. The CEO spoke to me very honestly and to the point not trying to push anything. She spoke to me about my weaknesses (yes, a male software engineer with 640 in the GMAT and no managerial experience is a weakness that needs addressing !!!) and about my chances at each of the schools I mentioned.

At the first stage, my entire profile was sent to a 4-person strategy team. I got a lot of feedback regarding how to show my past experiences and future career goals. This helped me focus on what the general message I am trying to convey is. My consultant (Joy) was amazing!!! She is a very experienced consultant and in a short time my application was ready. Well, that is what I thought  but ARINGO have two more verification processes before submission which involve alumni from each school going over my entire application. I did a few interview preparation sessions with Shimri and Shay and had a great interviewer who understood my story and my potential.

ARINGO's statistics just got better with another LBS proud student!
Way to go ARINGO! And thanks

ARINGO makes the impossible, possible

REVIEWER IDENTITY VERIFIED by score report [?]

I think that the most important question all us MBA applicants have in the back of our minds is “Can I get into a top MBA program with a low GMAT score”? My personal experience taught me that it is possible, and I would not have realized it had it not been for the team at ARINGO.

The truth is, GMAT or GRE results are not the only factor an admissions committee take into account when reviewing an application. It’s not even the selling point that would entice them to review the rest of your application. It is simply one out of 8+ factors that help an admissions committee determine whether you are the right fit for that year’s class. By fit, I mean you being able to add value to other students, and make their MBA experience that much more memorable. This is something I did not realise until I started working with ARINGO to strengthen my application, and was the key driver that helped me get into one of the top ranked business schools worldwide with a GRE score that would be the equivalent of 350 on the GMAT.

350 on the GMAT = 6th percentile. This means that 94% of people reading this review, either did, or will receive a better score than I did, and would still be anxious about “not succeeding”. Trust me, there is no point. I cannot emphasise just how big a role every other aspect of your application plays when it comes to selling your candidature to an admissions committee.

A high score on the GMAT or GRE simply means that you have strong critical reasoning skills when put under time constraints. They do not express your logic (when not under the same circumstances as the exam). They also do not express anything about your leadership skills, personality, knowledge etc.; these are some factors which are equally as important in the eyes of an admissions committee, and where ARINGO has an overwhelming amount of knowledge and experience to help put any applicant's best foot forward, ultimately increasing your chances of admittance.

I can only highly vouch for the team at ARINGO for helping me (and I’m sure many others) get into top-ranked dream schools worldwide, by helping us realize, and convey the best versions of ourselves on paper. My consultant specific was Rachel Segal, and I could not be more honoured to have worked with her throughout the entire application process.

I HIGHLY recommend Aringo!! I can't stress this enough.

Let me give you a brief of my background.

I'm from the Dominican Republic with a major in economics and 5 years of experience in commercial banking. I scored 620 in the GMAT. I applied to Goizueta, Fuqua, Kelley and McCombs. I ended up at Goizueta.

My experience with Aringo, and especially my consultant, Rachel, couldn't be better. These guys are truely professionals and accompany you in the whole process.

I started with a single package of 3 hours just to try the company, and eventually went to a more elaborated plan. I highly recommend the latter. The expertise of these people is amazing. What I found most useful was not that they help me with to correct any grammatical error (English is my second language), but how good they are at taking out the best of you.

I really enjoy the process. They respond very fast. I remember telling Rachel that I will miss a lot waking up and read in my inbox the new comments she had made on my drafts. I miss it! It was such an interesting and fun process.

Overall my experience was great, and I really really don't have anything to complaint about. I will always be grateful to Rachel and Chaya, the CEO, with whom I also spoke and was really really nice and handy.

completely satisfied with Aringo and my Consultant Tim Potter

REVIEWER IDENTITY VERIFIED by school email address [?]

Aringo is very accommodating in terms of helping you with the package and pricing that fits your particular needs. Excellent communication and network of alumni from various schools.

Generic advice before choosing any consulting company and consultant: Work with the ones that want to fulfill your particular requirements. Know exactly how you want to use the time of your consultant. Set the expectations with clear communication upfront to be cost effective. In the end you will still end up spending a few extra $$$ more than what you had expected. Go with full-school packages then hourly atleast for the first or second school. After that you can do it hourly.

About Tim Potter:
Tim is a seasoned consultant with a lot of successful placements across universities and programs. He gave me high level pointers, and direction to shape up my essays and application based on my background. His turn-around on reviewing my documents was practically few hrs to worst case 24-hrs. His advice was very genuine and straight-up which I appreciate. I did set the expectations up-front in terms of time, cost, review time, quality of content and I believe that is the key to working with anyone. Knowing what you want is very important. I was driving my application and deadlines. In the end you will be satisfied with your application packet. I worked with him on NYU and Kellogg. He is matured, grounded and very personable - we keep in touch and are friends now. I strongly recommend Tim Potter. 20 out of 10 stars.

Professional people!

REVIEWER IDENTITY VERIFIED by school email address [?]

I contacted Aringo to help me to prepare an application package. The attitude for my request was very professional. I was assigned to a very good consultant, Pankaj. He really showed me week points in my application and gave valuable pieces of advice how to improve all package. The result was amazing. Several top schools invited me for interview and finally I accepted an offer from one of them. The completion was high and without Aringo it would be difficult to get in the short list. In addition, the mock interview was very valuable, since I was asked many the same questions during real interviews. Thanks a lot!

Admitted to two top embas

It had been more than a decade since I had been through the rigors of drafting school applications.
Nonetheless, based on career progression, I felt I was a strong applicant and thus only applied to one of the top 10 schools initially.

One observation is hardly basis for meaningful inference, but after receiving a negative response, I gathered the application likely had been too unfocused.

Pleasantly impressed by Aringo's website, I thus signed up for the hourly services for help in structuring the many essays required by the two others schools that most interested me -both also clustered around top 10s-.

From the inception, I was pleasantly impressed with the structure that Shimri, the consultant I worked with, helped convey to my applications.

After devoting lots of my limited free-time to the process, I was honored to receive a positive response from both programs, and look forward to start my studies.

For completeness, I have to say I am fortunate to count as close friends a handful of graduates from Booth and HBS, whose helpful advice I also could rely, though Aringo was the last go-to point. Highly recommended.

Booth Weekend MBA

REVIEWER IDENTITY VERIFIED by score report [?]

Before I scored my un-anticipated 710 on the GMAT, I never thought a school like Chicago Booth (even the weekend program) was within reach for a student like me. I came out of the undergrad Industrial Engineering Bachelor of Science program with a 2.9 GPA - due to some adversarial personal issues I experienced early on in my academia. So let's sum this up - I was a guy with BIG professional aspirations, a poor undergraduate GPA - albeit a great story about how I overcame my adversity and grew into a better person in my later college years, a 710 GMAT (91st % - largely thanks to the verbal section) and about 6 years of relatively solid work experience with some extracurricular volunteer work and interests. I had no clue how to go about framing and writing my essays for school, all I knew was that if I could do it in the best way possible, I MIGHT stand a chance at making something great out of my career and completely moving past the challenges I had academically in undergraduate. I MIGHT stand a chance at getting into a top 5 school like Chicago Booth. Aringo was the answer to closing and effectively addressing this gap. I worked with a consultant as part of a comprehensive school package, who not only knew the right things to do, - but also had a lot of confidence in me as an applicant for Chicago Booth. I will readily admit that I did not realize all of the room for improvement I had in terms of writing essays. My consultant had all of the right suggestions in terms of wording and how to incorporate very beneficial strategies that tied my essays together with the rest of my application nicely. I have 0 regrets about my decision to enlist Aringo's consultancy and am so glad I did. I have recently learned that I have been accepted into Chicago Booth's Weekend MBA program and couldn't be more excited to start! Couldn't have done it without them - I would recommend this service to anyone else for getting into the school(s) of their choice.

My Aringo Experience

REVIEWER IDENTITY VERIFIED by post count [?]

I believe the experience with a consulting company can be a very individual. However, even more important than the company itself, is your personal consultant.

Your consultant will have much more impact about the process than the company. Hence, we should really review consultants and not admission companies.

I worked with probably one of the best consultants Aringo had to offer at the time.

Yoga was super responsive, fast, accurate, and most important, was always there for me.

He replied to my emails within hours, made very useful edits to my essays and had tremendous tips that helped throughout this entire process.

I'd recommend him any day.

As for Aringo, I know that ownership and management changed not so long ago, so don't believe that I should post a review about the company as I'm not familiar with the new execs.

ARINGO

Hi Tal,
Thanks for posting a review! We are so glad you worked with us, and got into NYU!
Just a note however that ownership and management have not changed - we have added a few people, but we're all still here :)
Thanks again for the review!

Aringo A la carte- A good deal for people who are almost there.

REVIEWER IDENTITY VERIFIED by post count [?]

Overall, i was happy with the services i got. I got a reasonable discount the first time around which is what encouraged me to sign with Aringo. Most of the work done involved polishing existing stories so that they become business school ready.

I didn't take any school package, primarily because I couldn't afford them. I'm not a native English speaker, which is why I think I needed an admissions consulting service. I decided to go with Joy Pincus as my consultant and was satisfied with the decision in the end.

Pros:
Well organized.
Excellent time-keeping.
Value for Money.
Access to many additional resources like, documents, samples, essays, deadlines etc.
3rd person review of essays and online forms for free.

Cons:
Will be expensive if you don't know what you're doing.
Skype sessions are a big no, if on a budget.
Discount only applies once.
Hard to choose the right consultant due to many options.

Admitted to Anderson

REVIEWER IDENTITY VERIFIED by score report [?]

I was a bit hesitant at first about signing up for a consulting service. I had a consultation with another competing firm and did not find their services to be very flexible or enticing. However, a coworker of mine suggested Aringo so I decided to at least do the free consultation. Michelle Miller, the CEO of the company called me, and was so very helpful and thorough in understanding my profile. The call was only supposed to be a 30 minute free consultation, but she went above and beyond in explaining different options to me from hourly services to school packages that it ended up being 45 minutes. At no point did I feel rushed or pressured into making a decision, and I was able to choose the right hourly package for me. I mentioned that Anderson was my dream MBA program, and Aringo actually matched me with an Aringo consultant, Hadas Sella, who is an Anderson grad and local to the area. It was so great being able to actually meet up in person with my consultant and go over my essay and resume face to face. A difficult in my application was that I started working with Aringo only 2 weeks before the deadline. I literally had nothing completed and felt overwhelmed as to how I would get everything done in time. Hadas from the get go was super flexible in meeting up and walking me through everything. I immediately felt at ease about completing my application not only in time but also in stellar quality. Hadas was a huge difference maker in application. She guided me as to what exactly an admissions officer looks for in a resume and an essay while not taking out the personal voice from my work. It was such an asset working with an Anderson alum, and I give Aringo credit for matching me with someone who not only attended Anderson but was so very actively involved during their time there that I felt like I had an upper hand in my essays and interview when discussing different aspects of Anderson that I looked to contribute to. At the end of the application, I was presenting the best possible version of myself to be reviewed. Through my hard work and Aringo's assistance, I was accepted into the MBA program of my dreams with a significant scholarship. I highly recommend working with Aringo to leverage yourself towards the best possible chance of success.
