I have used almost every available GMAT test prep material our there, and I can say, without a doubt, that VP stands above the rest.

Not only are their materials fantastic (and, in my opinion, the most similar to GMATPrep), but their employees and customer service are top notch. They genuinely care about your individual success and that made all the difference for me.

I sat for the GMAT 5 times, starting with a baseline score of 490. My last take was a 760 (99th percentile). I was not only admitted into my choice school, but I have been contacted by choice consulting firms.

If I had to describe VP (and not just their test prep, but their other services as well) in a word: Life-changing.

Veritas Prep is an amazing GMAT prep experience. It is evident that the organization gave careful thought to the structure of their student experience, from the sales experience, to the comprehensive online student portal, to the creative (and sometimes appropriately wacky) teachers. During the sales experience, I spoke with someone over the phone and he quickly answered all of my questions and then some. He also followed up diligently and concierged me into the experience (I purchased the package about two or three weeks before the course started and the sales associate helped me get up and running during that lead up time).

Once you enroll, Veritas Prep gives you access to an online student portal that houses a study plan, practice tests, practice problems, videos and recordings of your class. I found this one-stop shop very intuitive and helpful to help organize my efforts (because we all know that GMAT studying can go in multiple different directions). They also sent me 12 dense lesson books; spend the time to read through them, they have some good content in there. I really liked the philosophy of Veritas Prep (focus on strategy and reasoning, rather than content memorization). A previous course that I took did not touch on strategy at all and I think that's what prevented me from realizing my fullest potential.

I took an online live class with a teacher by the name of Ethan Todras-Whitehill. He is a little bit out there, but at the same time, you almost need someone like that to help bring the content to life, engrain it in your mind so come test day you remember certain techniques. The classroom environment he created was extremely collaborative (I've never taken an online course before, so I was pretty impressed with the technology as well). Ethan also went 'off-book' at points, supplementing the prescribed Veritas Prep material with his own creative slides to help further enforce the strategy and content. Ethan also focuses more on strategy and helps you understand why strategy is so important on the GMAT. At first I didn't trust some of the strategies, but once I gave them a try, I became a believer....THEY WORK! It's evident that Ethan has invested additional time to facilitate a robust learning experience, which I can say was effective at engaging me and keeping me coming back for more.

All in all, i'm in believer in Veritas Prep and would highly recommend the course.

Taught by: David Newland

I attended the immersion course by David Newland and must say that was the best decision I've made in 2016. I booked onto the immersion course by David Newland as it suited my timing and wanted to get some help with GMAT and I would say that I made a good call. The course was intense and fun at the same time.

David made sure everyone in the class was engaged as we were doing 7hrs study daily and it is very easy to lose focus. He made sure everyone was on track and was very approachable. He made sure that he addressed everybody's questions in the class and if he was running over time provided links to the explanations so that we don't miss out on important information/explanations.

His teaching skills are amazing, especially in the Verbal Section. Of course, him being the contributor to Vertias Prep GMAT study material and having been tutoring for 10+ years he is very knowledgeable in all the concepts and makes he passes on this information to his students.

All in all, I must admit he is a great tutor who helped me approach the GMAT in the right direction. I recommend him to anyone planning to take GMAT.

I took Veritas Prep on-demand course and found its material challenging. A lot of hardwork has been put in making this material and the hardwork can be seen while going through the material. Also their motto "Think like a test-maker" is inspiring. But I have been disappointing in case of doubt clarification sessions by Matt Douglas. He discouraged me a lot and constantly throwed me out of the sessions. It is sad that you do not get proper instructor support for your doubts to be clarified. Their Quant and verbal material is good except for SC which is not very satisfying. Brian and clara video sessions are really good. Tests and question bank are also extremely wonderful.

I took the Veritas Prep Full Live Online course with Ethan Todras-Whitehill and thought it was excellent! The instructor was entertaining, interactive, and effective. Him and Chris Speck, who assisted, were always available to exchange emails regarding study plans and testing tips. I looked forward to classes and felt really prepared on the basics of content and test strategy based on class material. I only minimally felt like I needed to go back through the book to review lessons in depth and spent the rest of my time focusing on homework and practice questions. Because I had a strong verbal score to start off, I almost exclusively relied on Ethan's strategies for the verbal section and didn't study much outside of that. If you are the type of student who enjoys the structure of a course and benefits from the pacing and organization of it, I would highly recommend this class. If you're effective at independent study, the course is pretty pricey. Personally, I decided to take the course rather than study independently because I wanted to avoid retaking the exam and on that end I'm pretty happy I did!

After 1,5 years of learning math at the university, one year of after work/school help with math, and many failures, I thought it was time for a change. I decided to join a GMAT prep course.

I came upon the Veritas Prep course and decided to contact them. From the moment you send an email to the Veritas Prep center, you see what the Veritas Prep course is made of. The people are helpful, fast in their response and very friendly! After my story and their recommendations, I decided to follow the course given by Chris Kane.

Chris Kane is an amazing teacher! Very professional and very helpful. His dedication to every student is amazing and he is always available for any questions. Even when the classes were over, he still helped the students out very well. I showed him my GMAT score I got after finishing the class, and he gave me some great tips on how I could improve myself for the next time. So I'm still studying, but I'm sure I'll do better than the last exam!

Even though I did not score extremely high, I scored a 330 before the classes, and improved it by 200 points on my first try after the classes!, I still believe the Veritas Prep course has improved my critical thinking and way of analyzing texts, a lot!

If you're considering a GMAT prep course, I highly recommend the Veritas Prep course, and especially the live classes hosted by Chris Kane!

I took the online course with Ethan Todras-Whitehill. His personality was fantastic and I NEVER felt bored in the class, and that was after working a full day and taking the evening class.

It was a good use of my time, but I would strongly recommend taking a refresher course before attending the live online course. I was totally new to the GMAT when I took the live online course, so I was in the dark for a bit. Also, you get access to the recorded courses once you're signed up if you want a different teacher to go over the same lessons, so having a couple of different perspectives was nice. Overall, my score went up about 70 points from taking the course, but I would attribute that to a ridiculous study schedule more than to the instructional period. Keep in mind too, that you have access to the recorded live sessions for a few months and you can sign up for an additional live online course at no extra charge after you finish your original period of instruction.

Overall, I would recommend this course to anyone, but with one caveat: don't expect to go to the class and understand the material. The money is made in the study time, the course sessions are great for getting up to speed, but the Veritas study and prep material is where the real meat and potatoes is.

Ethan provided an excellent in-person class. In addition to thorough content coverage, he dove deep into strategies to approach different question types, manage time and maintain focus. Every minute of the class was valuable. I've recommended Ethan and Veritas to friends and family.

Be prepared, though, to dedicate a very good amount of time outside of class to studying the material and refreshing basic algebra and arithmetic (prerequisites for being ready for class). I suggest taking the class at least 3 weeks before your exam so that you have adequate time to study after the class. I found that the class teaches you what you need to know, but you need to practice it to be ready to perform well on test day.

I took the Veritas Live Online course and could not have been happier. The format as well as the instructor, Ethan Todras-Whitehill, were both great. For anyone who works full time, the live online class is a perfect way to learn from the comfort of your own home after a long day at the office. The structure of the course helps provide a blueprint for how to attack a very daunting test. Ethan really helped to make learning these dreadful subjects fun and i would highly recommend taking a class with him. He was happy to answer any questions and you could sense his interest in how you were doing was genuine. Additionally, the online practice tests which Veritas provides were great in preparing to take the real thing. I ended up with a 720, which was around 100 points higher than before i took the course.

Ravi´s way of teaching is really impressive. He covers so much information in so little time, and somehow he manages to keep the class going fast while being so interesting. Time flies with Ravi. The student really needs to study in order to take advantage of Ravi´s classes, cause as I said before, the classes are fast and dense! Ravi is suited for all students that are really taking the GMAT seriously and really want to perform well. 99% or bust!
I started with Practice Tests of 590 and after the course ended, and on my second official attempt, I scored a 720. At least I owe half of that to Ravi
