Found this link from Kellogg: http://www.kellogg.northwestern.edu/academic/hema/curriculum/careers.htm

Essentially identifies the six major non-clinical career tracks in the HC space and the types of courses you could take to prep for each track. The tracks themselves:

- Consulting
- Pharmaceuticals, Diagnostics, and Medical Devices Management
- Hospital or Health Systems Management
- Insurance
- Financial Services (including Investment Banking and Venture Capital)
- Medical Start-Up

Those are the main industries...I would say career tracks are more along the lines of marketing, finance, strategy (consulting or internal), operations, business development, GM, sales, etc. Basically the same as other industries. Pharma seems to be similar to CPG in that a significant portion of their hires are in marketing and product management.

Kellogg Class of 2010...still active and willing to help. However, I do not do profile reviews, don't offer predictions on chances and am far to busy to review essays, so save the energy of writing me a PM seeking help for these. If I don't respond to a PM that is not one of the previously mentioned trash can destined messages, please don't take it personally I get so many messages I have a hard to responding to most. The more interesting, compelling, or humorous you message the more likely I am to respond.

Good clarification. The website I linked to seems to focus more on the industries then, rather than the specific tracks within each industry.
