I have been reading other blogs about LGO and now I have an impressions that it is almost impossible for international students to get it. But when I visited the Ambassadors day, there were quiet number of international aspirants. And from the chat I had with the students, I never got an impression that it would be tough for international students.
Now I am confused. Was it a bad decision to apply LGO?

Interview requests have started trickling out!

Just got mine in the email about 10 mins ago. First time posting, but figured everyone else was on the edge of their seats the past few days like me.

I'm so excited about another chance to go to Boston and being one step closer in the process!

Anyone know which day they are going to go yet?

Also, to others who haven't gotten an invite yet, Leah said that they are still evaluating applications and may invite candidates to interview through March 7, 2011.

Im so sad right now that it took me about 10 mins to tie my shoes. Good luck to everyone who got invites, you all are very very lucky and congratulations. If accepted, you will have one of the best experiences of your lifetime and many doors will open for you.

I would not worry too much if I were you. We were all wrong about the date the invitations were sent because we were going on info from years before, and we may be wrong also following last year's model that "chances get slim if you don't get it in the first shot". It seems like the people on the admissions committee are completely different from years past.

I agree with gurakshun, even in last year's thread the initial batch of interviews went out in a few days and not all on the same day, so don't give up hope yet!

I am also a first-year LGO, so please let me know how I can help :)

For those who did not get invitations, don't worry. Although I am not at all associated with the admission process, I do know people in my class were getting invitations even in February.
