49Q but only 86th percentile?

That was what my unofficial report said after I took the test. Still waiting for the official scores. Does this score breakdown make sense?

That would suck big time.

I also got 49Q and it was 90th Percentile. I think there's a qualitative difference between seeing a 9 and an 8 in that first digit.

I checked the mba.com and it still lists a 49Q at 90%.


It it's true that would mean a 10% jump from 49Q (86th) to 50Q (95).

Yeah, I also got a 49Q and that seems to be in the 90th% on both the official report and the unofficial.

Maybe make an inquiry to the mba.com website?

I scored a 48 in quant and that corresponds to 86th percentile...........................so, like u said.............it mite be a qualitative difference

high scores like 49 and 50 in Quant are not rare.
so it is understandable.
