640 (Q50,V27) How to improve Verbal?

Hi....I took the GMAT test last month and got a score of 640. I did well in Quant but didnt score well in Verbal. What I have noticed is that my accuracy in Verbal is very low around 55 - 60 %. I am able to finish the questions in time but because of my low accuracy, I am not able to score well.
I am planning to take the GMAT exam again after 2 months. During this 2 month period, i plan to focus only on Verbal.
How should I prepare so that I get a score of around 38-40 in Verbal?
Thanks

Indeed the Verbal section is quite important. Adcom sees lots of applicants with strong quant but weak verbals (especially among Indian IT types).
Go back and look at practice questions from GMATPrep software that you got wrong. Ask yourself: why did I get those wrong? What could I have focused on more in order to be on the right track? After seeing the correct answer, if I were to answer that same question tomorrow--is there a 100% chance that I would answer it correctly tomorrow? Let's see and try it out.
