680 on Kaplan [#permalink] New post 12 Jan 2013, 12:43
I got a 680 on the Kaplan free test...but it was really strange coz i got just 19 right in quant and about 25 right in verbal...i was expecting something around 630..I am very confused about its scoring and about how close Kaplan is to the real exam...Also Kaplan didnt provide me with individual section scores....it just gave me the percentage of the right questions...feeling very lost and i have my exam in 2 days

I would really grateful someone could could help me out

Have you taken GMATPrep? If so, what did you score on it?

I would say a 650 is right around where you will score, depending on how well you perform under pressure. Try getting a good night's sleep and relax. That will make a difference on test day.

Guess what..I got a 580 on the real one.. devastated!!.. couldnt get sleep the night before the exam....always managed a 35-37 on verbal but on the real exam I got a 28  ...I would suggest everyone to screw the OG coz it is bullshit...I dont even understand why GMAC would do that...OG questions are too darn easy and the real exam question are not even 5% of what the OG has...complete waste of time and money

I'm pretty sure the OG is one of the best tools out there. It most closely mirrors the actual exam. Sorry to hear about your experience...keep your head up!
