all shipments had = 30*300/100 ; 90 jelly
first = 17
second = 40
so third ; 90-17-40 ; 33
i.e 33%

First Shipment Second Shipment Third Shipment

100 100 100
jelly doughnut 17 40

Total doughnut = 30% of 300
= 90
Shipment in the last hundred 90-(17+40) = 33
that is 33% in the last shipment(D)

3 shipments:
1st - 100 donuts, 17% jelly = 17 jelly
2nd - 100 donuts, 40% jelly = 40 jelly
3rd - 100 donuts, x% jelly = x jelly

300 donuts, 30% jelly, 57+x jelly

90 jelly donuts = 57+x
33 = x
3rd = 100 donuts, 33% jelly

We can create the equation:

0.17(100) + 0.4(100) + n/100 * (100) = 0.3(300)

17 + 40 + n = 90

n = 33

Answer: D
