A dog breeder sells puppies through the newspaper. She sells female puppies for x dollars and male puppies for y dollars where x > y. One of her dogs has a litter with a males and b females, where a > b. Another of her dogs has a litter with b males and a females. Which of the following represents how much more the breeder will make from the second litter, assuming she is able to sell all the puppies.

a. x+y / a-b
b. 3x+3y / a+b
c. X^2 + y^2 / a+b
d. X^2 + y^2 +a +b
e. y(b-a)(a-b)

there is some mistake inthe answers, i suppose

the answer sould be (y-x)*(a-b)

I thought there was a mistake too so I wanted to see if anyone else could come up with correct answer.
