So the train covers its own length in 35 seconds and its own length+platform in 55 seconds.
This means, the train covers the length of platform in 55-35 or 20 seconds. => 300m in 20 seconds or speed is 15mps

If the train covers its own length in 35 seconds, the length = 15*35=525m.

X/35=(300+x)/55; equal velocity.
X : length of train .

Given, l/35 = (300+l)/55 or, l= length of train = 300*35/20 = 525 m
