Hi Alex,

I'm currently trying to decide between applying to business schools next year or the year after. I would prefer to apply next year, however, and was wondering if you think 45 months of WE upon matriculation (age 27) is sufficient to not raise any sort of flags? I'm looking to completely switch industries so I don't feel an extra year would give me any more relevant experience however I would be able to take on further responsibility if I stuck around (although it would not be "game-changing"). Your advice is much appreciated!

If you feel ready to go now and you're looking to switch careers sooner than later, why wait for the sake of waiting? Just apply now, and if you get in, great. If not, you can always reapply next year.
