Admission Offer and VISA Acceptance [#permalink]
05 Apr 2006, 05:55
Hi,
Let us consider that a person gets MBA admission offer from a good University, which promises for a loan (without security / co-signer).
Will VISA be issued to this person, even if he doesnt have money (for tuition fees) in his bank account?
Regards,
Desi
PS: I read that during VISA proceedings, a VISA gets rejected if there is no sufficient amount in bank. Also, read that few instituions promises for loans. Hence I ask this question.

Is the promise from the school a written guarantee that the student will have sufficient funds to attend?

Thanks for your time Hjort...
I am not sure if that is a written statement. Instead it is some information given in the site.
For example, Harvard site states that "All students who are admitted to the Harvard Business School MBA Program are guaranteed access to financing to cover the entire standard student budget".
Will this be sufficient for VISA acceptance?

Since a visa is a necessary condition for study, I would check with the individual school to get a certain answer.
