At least I'm not alone in the forever waiting pool. I interviewed in late February, but it's been over a month since that time and I haven't heard anything. Every other school has gotten back to me.

Hi to all, first time poster.... I applied on 1/14 and interviewed on 3/8 on campus... My bet would be to go to the school and interview there. In my experience you can show how excited you are to become part of the McCombs community more explicitly in person as you get excited about being there, but thats just me...

On the other hand, does anybody know when the decisions are going to be made??? As I said I interviewed on 3/8 and have not heard a thing since....

This process is really annoying...

All best to all and good luck...

Unfortunately, McCombs works on its own (very frustrating) timetable. Some have received decisions, and some haven't, and all you can really do is wait. I interviewed about a week before you and got a waitlist notice 11 days ago. Which, to be honest, is even more annoying that waiting for a decision. I'm a firm believer in having "closure", so if I don't get a yea or nay on the WL in the next 2-3 weeks I'm going to just say f&ck it and say thanks, but no thanks.

Tom

That sucks men!!! Best of luck anywhere you are applying to!

Second that..After giving them the benefit of the doubt for quite a while, I am now convinced that UT has a holier than thou attitude and treats its applicants with far too little respect.

They use rolling admissions. As people decline offers they will accept others. Next week is one of the primary deadlines, so you will see more acceptances then.

I thought the acceptance deadline (for those already admitted) was April 15th?

Nope, It varies by when you were accepted. I know several people have to decide by early next week.

Ah, thanks. I asked earlier in this thread and someone just said 4/15 so I took that to mean a standard date. Thanks very much for the clarification.

Re: Calling all Texas - McCombs Fall 2011 applicants [#permalink]
I have not received any reply since my submission in 14th January, let alone an interview invite.
As an international candidate from Asia, it seems hard to imagine that I still have a chance to be accepted at McCombs by now. Knowing that even the final submission deadline for Domestic applicants (US based) is due today (1st April).
Actually McCombs is one of my priority program. But what can I say.. with no interview invites at hand, I guess i will have slim chance to be accepted by then.
Keeping all possible fingers crossed still.

Cheers all.. :)

Does anyone know if there is any correlation between length of time since submitted til decision release.

Submitted my application on Jan. 7, received interview invite on Jan. 17, interviewed beginning of Feb. Since I am at the end of 12 weeks is that a bad sign? When I called Texas two weeks ago, I was told that decisions would be released any time between 10-12 weeks. Every time that I check my email account, I am expecting to see an email from Texas.

Every other school I applied to has gotten back with me at least two weeks ago.
