Thanks!

I did my interview on campus earlier this week. The interviewer seemed surprised that I went down to LA from the Bay Area just for this interview.
The interviewer was a 2nd year student. I scheduled online and knew his name ahead of time. The questions were very standard. He did ask some follow-up questions to some of my responses, but nothing too difficult.
I hadn't been on campus for several years (I did my undergrad at UCLA), and had forgotten how nice it was. The buildings of the Anderson School still feel new, and the rest of campus felt like an oasis in the middle of LA. I had lunch at a campus cafeteria that I used to frequent, not far from the Anderson School. The school itself felt more lively than Haas, which I also visited recently. The weather was beautiful, as expected.
Overall, I think I did well on my interview. I have a lot of experience with this sort of thing and this session was not particularly challenging. It was my first (of many hopefully) interview of the application season so it was good practice. I feel pretty good about my chances at UCLA and I left feeling very positive about the school.

My Interview is this week. It's not a Super Saturday event, its with a second year student. My interviewer was recently switched to another second year student. They notified via email, strangely, they didn't tell me they were switching, it was the exact same email I received the first time, excelt this time with a different interviewer.
Oh well, I don't think it matters too much. I'm preparing for the standard questions.
Thanks!

I was wondering about that. Does UCLA release decisions throughout the application period? I completed my interview after the deadline.

antapple -- at UCLA you need to schedule your own interview. I would hurry up and do that.

even if you're international?
I though internationals would be invited (or not) to off campus interviews...

Historically, Yes. This year they released the R1 decisions in two batches - around Christmas and on the day of the deadline. I got my decision late in the evening on the day of the deadline.

I met a R2 admit at an admitted students event earlier this week. R2 seems to be rolling..whatever that means for Anderson.

Some people reporting admits earlier this evening. It seems that they interviewed in November before the deadline. I actually had my interview after the deadline - I don't know if that is a factor in decision timing.
Hoping to hear something soon.

that's not true. you can either interview on campus by scheduling on your own (either before you submit your app or after) OR get invited for an alumni interview after you've submitted and they think you're a strong candidate. apparently they had a huge increase in round 2 so it's a little slower going.

A couple of people on the BW boards said they received admit e-mails earlier this week. So it looks like its rolling, just very slowly.

55% of the "admitted" decisions have gone out. A long way to go. Good luck!
