It’s difficult to compare since the career exit and the personality of Australian bschools and US bschools are so different. Australians have the mentality of “work to live”, while some of the US bschools have the “live to work” mentality. As far as career exit goes, top tier US bschool is much better. Top Australian bschool grads usually enter the market at the analyst level, whereas top US bschool grads enter leadership development programs, management consulting, or i-banking. I would say MBS/AGSM are comparable to top 15-25 US bschool.

if you look at the class profile: MBSAGSMboth school's GMAT is in the 650 range. if you compare this to US schools, the best ranked US with comparable GMAT is SMU-Cox. However, even barely ranked programs like UC-Irvine has an average GMAT of 680.

The school reported stats can be deceiving. for one, it doesn't tell you how dated the information is, for two, it doesn't tell you the positions they are recruiting for. to get a better sense you can look at the alumni list: Bain - 3 alumni listed McKinsey and BCG (doesn't have a school specific site for MBS) You can search any of the top 20 US schools, I'm sure there's at least a school specific site for them on the MBB websites.
