Hmmm, i've applied to round 3. However i started the process even later.... end of October i decided to apply for MBA!!! GMAT was taken mid november, and i've submitted to 6 schools after 3-4 weeks of essay writing.!!! Wanted to get all my applications done before xmas/new year so i can spend the time with my wife and kid.

I don't expect cornell to have any yield problem this year, so WL = Ding, to be practical. Although I have to say, I was kinda prepared for a ding, so am not feeling dissappointed at this. that doesn't mean I find any shortcoming in my app./had put less heart into it....I'm just leaning towards becoming comfortably numb.....

^^ No word all day. I hope you're right about that one, lol. I sat by the phone/laptop basically all day. Tomorrow will be less stressful.
I like to think that they are having a heated argument over me deciding whether I get the full ride or full ride + stipend, lol. Take your time Cornell.

From what I have read on BW, very few R2 invites have gone out. Who knows though?

 I'm pleased to report that I got into Cornell today. No call or email, but I checked my status (repeatedly) and it now says 'offer'. I must say I feel like new money. No word on any financial aid yet though. This is really a load off going forward.

I had my interview today with Cornell and had a chance to talk about the process little bit. They said they were keeping their fingers crossed to meet the 11th of January deadline for announcements but it might be delayed a little bit (1 or 2 weeks)
The admission office will be closed from 24th until 2nd of January but I think they will keep working on the applications to meet the original deadline.
