CBS ED Admit need helps!!

Hello GMAT Clubbers,
I got admitted to CBS in the ED round back in October, and while CBS was my top choice until last week, due to a family situation, it will be difficult for me to live in NYC - My husband had an unexpected job promotion and has been asked to transfer to Chicago. I applied to Kellogg & Booth in R1, but ended up withdrawing my applications late October and told them that I got admitted to CBS in the ED round. Do you think I can email them and ask them to consider my application again to their schools? I have already interviewed at Kellogg and withdrew my app before Booth released its interview decisions.
My biggest worry is that if I request them to reconsider me, they might tell CBS and I will lose my admit there too. Worst case scenario: I will attend CBS, but really want to live with my husband in Chicago. Re applying next year is not an option.
Really hoping to get some feedback!

If you hadn't withdrawn your applications already you might have options but at this point you've painted yourself into a corner. You made a binding commitment to Columbia and told both the Booth and Kellogg admissions offices that you made that commitment and were admitted. So now you would be calling them back to say, I know I told you to withdraw my application but I'd like to be considered again even though I'm out of cycle. And regardless of the reason you give what they are going to hear is, I gave my word to CBS but my word doesn't mean that much and I want to explore other options now. MBA admissions are a small world and I would be very surprised if they didn't call somebody at CBS.
Honestly I don't know that you really have any good options. And even if you apply next year(which you say you can't do) Booth and Kellogg will have you as a re-applicant and will probably have a record that you withdrew your applications. I think you're in a tough spot unfortunately.

Thanks for the feedback. Yes, it doesn't seem like I have any good options, so I am just going to matriculate to Columbia and will try to get a summer internship in Chicago.
Like mentioned before, CBS was my first choice for the get go and I am really excited to start the program next Fall.

One other thought, and it's a long shot, you could call the CBS admissions and tell them the situation and see if you could go with J-term instead. Then you would at least be separated for less time since it is a shorter program. Don't know how they would look at that or if it works for your intended goals. Losing the summer internship could be challenging depending on your employment goals.
