If it's not helping you improve, it's not worth finishing. Know what the definition of insanity is? Doing the same thing over and over again but expecting a different outcome. ;-)

Seriously, though. Try a different book. I liked the techniques in Princeton Review's book and would recommend trying those. I didn't even know there was a CR bible but I did fine with PR.

I think CR is terribly difficult to teach. What I've tried to do is

#1 read the questions stem
#2 find the conclusion (most times it's there) <-- spend a few seconds doing so, sometimes it's not always so obvious
#3 find the supporting statements, it's a lot easier if you find the correct conclusion. If you have found the wrong conclusion, that's the beginning of the confusion.

Identify and tweak the evidence (supporting statements) and/or assumptions (unstated, of course) to strengthen/weaken the conclusion.
