I chose B but it is not the OA. Maybe someone can elaborate why it should not be B.

I think its C.

B is certainly not the answer. The argument talks only about the cure through "BIOCHEMICAL SUPPLEMENTS". Here the author is not concerned about factors influencing the incidence of anemia in children. Author is concerned only about the cure. "SUPPLEMENTS" in the sentence suggests that regular diet is not improving the health of anemic children thats why company is doing R&D.

I am going to go with D. The company is predicting that "the children will be cured relatively simply thruough the use of such biochemical suppliments". Inorder for them to claim the children will be cured they should make the assumption that the children will take the injection. D coveys this.

A. Out of scope

B. a low iron level in the body is the major factor influencing the incidence of anemia in children ..

this it is ... there could be other causes of ANEMIA other than iron defiencency ...(disclaimer i am not a doc :) )

C. there is no issue of other cures

D. Out of scope

E. there is no issue of safety
