B.From the ration, you can work out the nos on the total no of employees

OA is B.

Here is my issue with this question:

From stmt 1) we can find out what percentage has paid 81% or more. The question has asked us to find out the fraction for 80% or less.

Since we know the percentage for 81% or more, if we subtract from 100% we would get 80% or less right? Once we get the percentage, then we can find out the fraction.

Something tells me that I am missing something in the above, but I couldn't spot it. Could someone throw your thoughts?

subtracting from 100 will, in this case, give: %ge of people who paid LESS THAN 81% it can be 85.5 %

Thanks Duttsit ... I got it. I hope you meant "... it can be 80.5%".
