You don't need essay editing services or a consultant, as long as you have a solid grasp of the english language and someone willing to read them. If you are coming up short then I suggest you add more details about the school. Its always a safebet to add more about how you fit into the school. Find someone who is applying to trade essays with, or a student/alum who is willing to read them and give you a few pointers.
Honestly I have heard more negative things about consultants and essay services than positive. The majority feed on peoples fears, the good ones are generally very good but as such are also very expensive. The biggest strength for the big name consultants is they know the schools very well so they know what strengths to play to each and how to position you in terms of fit. An essay service wont provide that, they will mainly edit for grammar, spelling, and flow...not content but still is going to cost you a pretty penny.
Research the school, visit the school and sit in on a class, talk to students and alums, attend events...these will provide everything you need to use for your essays.
