Hi All
Finally I am done with the GMAT. The final (FULL STOP), result after 3 attempts had not been significant. Nevertheless, I am done with it. The scores have been 580-620-640. I am happy with a 640, and now concentrating to make to the deadline to the shortlisted schools. For me, I do not think there is any point taking more attempts to cross 700. For 2 reasons, either I am tired of it or ETS will never make me cross 700, as I am a potential DONOR.
Coming to my exprnc with the test the 3rd time. THe AWA, usual...The quant was easy with couple of Probability stuff here and there. I was confident in the quants, with just one question that took a significant amount, I clicked an moved on. Outcome - 49.
Verbal - The usual long SCs (complete underlined) and RC, this time was easy. What took my day off were the CRs. I was able to cut to 2 close ones, but ...yeah... never mind. I got a 29 (the same as I had in the 2nd try). Final score. Q49, V29 - Total 640.
This score falls in to the 80% of all the schools that I am applying to. Hence I feel that I stand a good chance. This confidence should reflect in the application as well. Couple with 9 years of exprc...and working in 5 countries, I hope to make it.
Now I am done with it. I would like to THANK all you guys - - no specific names here as I am sure I will miss them... there were loads of people who helped me out. I do not take the credit of a good quant to myself. It goes to the TEAM. Thanks once again. I wish all of you good luck to all in their application process.
Trust me, I shall be back to post my final result on the school that has accepted me. Take care. See you all budding MANAGERS.
Regards
Carsen.
