As usual, I am the latecomer to notice any sort of TRULY EXCEPTIONAL performance by a fellow member of the Club...

Laxie just called to inform me that she "performed miserably" on the GMAT. I begged her to divulge her score, but she wouldn`t dare say. So after wolfing down a tuna rice bowl, I RAN home to see her results....a 700! I honestly can`t stop shaking because I can only imagine how elated she feels right now. The fact is, I totally expected this score, and honestly thought she would (and probably still can) be the first GMATClub member (oops moderator) to score an 800. Regardless,

For all of you who think that Laxie is an exceptional person, let me just add that she is undoubtedly the most brilliant and driven human being I have ever met. Laxie will go to her one "dream school" after graduating next year and become a power elite global citizen with so much to offer.

Let me also add that our new moderator is a multilingual polyglot. In addition to her mother tongue of Vietnamese, she communicates in impeccable English, Chinese, and Japanese. We have had multiple conversations in Japanese, and I can attest to her mastery of one of the world`s most convoluted languages.

Once again, like I told you before the test, please do not "take your 700 and run" like so many other past members have. The true worth of a human being is not what one does for his/herself, but what they can do for others. So many people here have grown attached to you, so please stick around (after your brutal papers or course) and share your keen insights.

GMATT, we have never had someone write such a thoughtful post on someone on the Club. Thanks so much for that. I've also rarely seen so much affection for a member. Says a lot about laxieqv.
