Gmatprep you get it by going to the GMAT website where you register for the test. That test is very accurate.

The GMATPrep tests are the best ones, but I don't know that I'd really use it for a diagnostic. I wouldn't waste those tests before you get into your prep. Doing a diagnostic cold, without knowing anything about the GMAT or doing any practice questions first, wastes a test for most people who aren't naturally gifted test-takers.

Now if you've already done some practice, then I'd go for it! :-)

The other possibility is to do the free diagnostic test on http://www.review.com. Princeton Review's tests are very similar to the real thing, so it would be a good diagnostic, although I don't know if the one on their site is also on the DVD that comes with Cracking the GMAT.

Diagnostic Tests - Not Online [#permalink] New post 01 Nov 2006, 20:14
I used both the OG Diagnostic and the PR Warm-Up. I felt like the OG Diagnostic did a better job of pointing out my specific areas I needed to work on - arithmetic! Who knew? It also seemed to give a closer idea of how I compared. I also think it was harder than the PR one. I did the PR Warm-Up pretty early in my prep, so I guess it served its purpose. The OG was one I did more recently.

Neither of these was CAT, but I am glad I used most of my CATs toward the end of my prep process. I wish I had a few more of those.

I have powerprep, which were practice tests provided by ETS (before pearson vue took over gmac). I had posted it on gmatclub before, if you do not find it let me know (PM me your email address).
