depends on LOTS of factors.... school you graduate, company you are looking at, grades, vacancies, country you want to work etc....agree that question is very generic.....better start browsing through the companies websites.....should be a good starting poitn....

I take it you're applying to 2+2?
So, here's the deal with consulting companies. For the biggies (McK, Bain and BCG) at least, it's harder if your school is not on their "elite" list of campus recruitment. But it's not impossible. Engineering graduates are welcomed, I think, because of their practical outlook. However, there are a zillion tests and interviews before you get in. If you get into 2+2, McK might be a really bright option as they love HBS peeps.

So if your school is not in the 'elite', is it still possible to work at consulting firms? If so, which ones? My undergraduate major was in Business Management, is that a good or bad thing? Thanks.
