Hey folks

I gave my GMAT this afternoon and scored a dismal (as it wasn't what I'd expected) 710 (Q49 V38).

I just wanted to thank everyone on the forum for their help (some way or the other). I'm contemplating on giving it another try, but for now - just need some rest to gather my thoughts! (coz I'm not sure whether this score is gonna get me into any of the colleges I prefer)

All the best to those who are planning to take GMAT soon!

Cheers!

Congratulations! I think you will get everything you want with this score (and a ton of effort working on essays, good LOR's, transcripts, etc) ;)

Congratulations!! This is a very respectable score! If you are not bitten by the 750 bug yet, you have plenty to play with here..Unless you are targetting the 2013 bandwagon, which gives you some scope for more trials, i think you should put all your thoughts into the application process...
All the best!

Thanks folks! Seems like I've been bitten by the 750 bug :)
I guess I'll apply to a few colleges with this score and keep continuing my practice so that I can retake GMAT when I'm fully prepared!
Hope things go well ... wish me luck!

Ah..Now..there is a mistake that most do...Apply to schools which they dont really see themselves attending...I wouldnt do that if i were you...If you are apping...do it with complete dedication and not with a thought at the back..."this is just trial year.."..you will be in a bigger fix if you get an admit from one of the schools and you end up thing...should i go or wait for next year and get a better one...trust me thats a bad situation to be in..
