Well yesterday was my bday and gifted myself a GMAT appointment.

Jokes apart, I have been studying for GMAT for around 2 months now and my preparation has been sluggish without any plan.
So I dicided to take a date after 2 months and plan accordingly. I took 20 July as my GMAT date.

Preparation as far:
OG PS - Only Medium and hard question - accuracy more then 90 %
OG DS - half of them
OG CR - ALL
OG RC - Started recently
OG SC - 40 Qs left

SC Manhattan and Randomly referred to other SC guides available on the forum.
RC Bible - I referred it cause it is highly recommend.

I had prepared for maths a year back for for IIM CAT, so dont think it should of any problem.

Verbal Part keeps fluctuating all the time. Specially SC part.
When I am practicing Sc I get good number of them right. But when I am out of practice I get almost all wrong.
So I decided to solve 10 SC everyday.

Tests:
800Score Maths - 36 Points on both test attempted so far
Attempted couple of them and I must say they are tougher then what I expected. But in beginning its good for practice in timed mode. But it was demoralizing unless I read its review in forums.

Kaplan higher score - Took few section wise tests


Plan for next two months:

I have prepared a plan till 20 July and determined to stick to it. Find the Plan for May attached.



Plan for MAY

Week 2:
I will finish my OG verbal part this week and revise all the wrong answers for OG.

Week 3:
Finish OG Maths and revise all the wrong answers for OG.
power800 Verbal and Maths Test.
Take a GMAC Test to judge my level of preparation.

Week 4:
Finish Kaplan Section test for practice.
power800 Verbal and Maths Test.
MG Full Test

Will keep updating my struggle as well as my progress .
Please let me know if you have any suggestions.

Plan of Action:
Complete OG by weekend.
Take individual section tests on weekend.
Start and complete my Error Log revision next week for OG.

Today I took Kaplan 20 Mins workout.
I has all type of question. I mean 3 types of verbal and 2 type of Maths Question.
I think some of them were from OG or from Kaplan Gmat Premier book.
Anways its fun and good for Practices. I will try and do this exercise everyday to keep in touch with all kinds of problems.

OG Progress

Practiced all Sections in Timed Mode have recorded the time taken for each Q.

DS: Will Complete the remain Question in 2-3 Days
PS: I think OG Does not give a good idea of MATHS level in general. I have left all Easy PS Question. Directly finished Medium and hard.

CR: Need to Improve
RC: Lot of Score of Improvement. Will come only with Practice. I have done RC under Proper Time constrains.
SC: Main concern is Accuracy in SC. How bad is 50 % accuracy? How do I judge my level ? any suggestions?

I am planing to do all SC and CR wrong question again. Will it help ? any suggestions?

@hussi9
No one can deny importance of re-attempting incorrect questions. In fact, many suggest to keep working on error log till thought process becomes second nature to you. I know it's easier said than done. Also, read explanation for each question even if you got it correct.
Again, you're practicing to solidify your concepts. GMATPrep or MGMAT tests are the only reliable indicators of your performance.

Thanks for the suggestion. I am planing to get Manhattan SC Guide to get access to their test.
I think it will also provide access to their SC Question Bank.

I lost the focus in the week. And could not out in efforts I usually put in.

Well I took 800score Verbal 1 test.
The scoring is kind of wired. With 26 correct I score a scaled score of only 27. But I am ok with the performance.
Most wrong are on RC. It took major chunk of my time and returned wrong answers.
Have it work on it. If I get hold of it. I can do better.

Scaled Score: 27
Correct: 26
Incorrect
