Help me to understand why this value converts to that value

I am struggling using the Mahattan Quant guides to understand an exponent question.

Why does 6^60+6^60+6^60=6^61?
At first I thought 6^180 but I'm not multiplying so that rule doesn't apply.
Then I thought 6^60(1+1+1) but that doesn't make sense.
So what rule am I missing that makes 6^60+6^60+6^60=6^61?

There is something missing here.

"Then I thought 6^60(1+1+1) " is correct.

\(6^{60}+6^{60}+6^{60}= 6^{60} (1 + 1 + 1) = 3*6^{60}\)
whereas
\(6^{61} = 6*6^{60}\)

There is something missing here.

whereas
\(6^{61} = 6*6^{60}\)


Ya, I improperly modified a question while trying to keep from plagiarizing the original question.

So then what your saying is if I have. 6^60+6^60+6^60+6^60+6^60+6^60 I would factor out the 6^60 and that would give me 6^60 *(1+1+1+1+1+1 or 6) thus I would add another 6.

Which would be 6^61 correct?
