First of all, thanks to all gmatClub participants in all forms. This is a great community. Second, this is going to sound like whining and sorta first-world problem-y. Please look past that.
Anyways, I've been studying for the GMAT since late September and made the mistake of delaying picking a start date. So, I ended up getting a Dec 20th test date. Initially, I thought this was great as it would give me lots of time to study. Too much time, perhaps? I've been really slogging it through Verbal and Quant and have made some good strides. I think I started somewhere in the 600s and have fortunately been getting low-mid 700s on my practice GMAT (this includes GMAT Prep, GMAT Pill and a Kaplan CAT). I know this is good (good math and weaker in verbal) and I have certainly taken lots of confidence from these past tests. Obviously, this is with home-field advantage of my apartment while taking the test, so factor that in for test day.
However, as we round the 3 weeks and counting down until test date, I just feel my motivation has plummeted. I just don't feel like practicing more than a few questions every night. I've been thinking of reviewing my
mGMAT verbal guides as a refresher. But, I do want to keep practicing, albeit with a lighter load as I get down to the test date. D any experienced GMAT'ers have any strategies to share in this situation? Perhaps refreshing my verbal skills? I haven't really looked over too many AWA templates--maybe reading up on some strategies? Or even taking a few days off and hitting the books to end on a high before test day?
Any and all advice much appreciated.
