How is Masters in Management (MiM) as a course? [#permalink] New post   10 Feb 2013, 00:24
I am a final year B.E student planning to appear for GMAT by the end of march.
Being a fresher my only option is to go for Masters in Management which is comparatively less renowned than MBA and also offered only by a few colleges. So is it wise to go for MiM or to get some work experience and then go for a full time MBA.

Also if there are any other programs available for a fresher post GMAT, feel free to share.

Have you looked into some of the better ones, such as the ones at HEC and LBS? They have excellent placement statistics.

Hi Commdiver.. can you please provide some placement stats of LBS MIM and HEC Paris MIM?

The courses are good for sure . but it cannot be compared with an mba . Its better to go for a kill rather than imply trying to fill up ur resume .

It's well documented that there's a big data talent gap, but what's being done about it? What's needed is knowledge and experience. On the first front, hundreds of colleges and universities worldwide are gearing up business analytics, machine learning and other programs aimed at analysis of data in a business context.
