I've seen a 720 with a 48 40 last year on the real thing.

The only explanation is that the percentiles are shifting and that its tougher to score high on the gmat with the same breakdowns this year :(

I believe you're right. I heard a (50Q, 40V) used to be 750, but now it is a 730.
